Were does time fly?

Well it has been almost 4 months since I have posted a blog. Wow where to start?

To say life has been busy would be an understatement. Work and being a full time single dad has been sucking the life out of me and fortunately I have manage to keep up on some running. No correct that, I have been running a lot lately.

Since I have posted last I ran several races including the Twin City Marathon where in less than ideal conditions I did manage to qualify for Boston. My official time was 3:27:24. I finished 76/580 in M45-49 age group and was 711 overall out of 7800 or so who completed it. I am fairly pleased with the results.

The big highlight was going to Running Amy's wedding. To say she was a beautiful bride is an understatement. She and her husband Troy were fun and we had a great time at the wedding. I hope to post a few pictures up in the next few days.

I am going to get caught up on Blogs and start to post again. I should be past the busiest time at work now and have more time to stay connected.

Enjoy the day everyone.

Kurt

way to go

I think everyone was wondering what had happened to you.

Congratulations on qualifying for Boston!

I'm not doing much posting lately but I look forward to reading your posts.

Nice to have you back! Totally completely cool about BOSTON! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I know all about the crazy work and single parenting bit...running helps, huh?

:)

Welcome back and congrats for that amazing 3.27.24!
You will not believe but the word verification is "lostin"!

Congrats on the BQ (if I didn't tell you already!)

Thanks for coming to the wedding! I will warn you though, there may be a video of you dancing floating around somewhere...it may or may not get posted to my blog here in the near future! (ok, to be fair, I'll give you a heads up!)

Glad you're back in the blogging world!

1) Where's the video of you dancing at the wedding?

2) I love that you have me listed as Gingerbread MAN and not GINGER Breadman. I remember when you first figured that out. It makes me smile.

3) I think you're just as behind as me as getting caught up. I gotta say, though - it's very therapeutic when you get the chance.

4)How awesome on the BQ. It was a life moment for me - it'll be fun to follow it in April!

Nowhere to put this so I'm stuffing it here: Happy Xmas!

Happy Christmas!!!
